As a senior principal scientist, Shesh Thiruvenkadam will be responsible for designing new and differentiated AI models within eurekaHealth that bring more impactful applications to life sciences companies. Shesh has more than 20 years of experience building predictive algorithms and image analysis tools for healthcare. His work has changed how the industry uses predictive models for disease risk and critical events based on RWD, algorithms to simplify workflows and deep learning techniques to aid in image analysis. Shesh holds 10 patents with 21 more pending and he has contributed to 25 peer reviewed, published articles. Previously, Shesh was a senior research scientist at GE Global Research and a principal technology consultant and head of data science at Attune Technologies. He has a B.S. and M.S. in Mathematics from the University of Madras, India, a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Florida and was a post-doctoral scholar at UCLA.
Vivek Vaidya is a senior principal scientist at ConcertAI whose work enables powerful AI modeling and analytics solutions. In 2018, Silicon India magazine named him one of India’s top 10 data scientists. At ConcertAI, Vivek has been instrumental in driving four critical AI models (stage, survival, neutropenia and metastatic status) from clinical validation to industry application. Previously, he worked at GE Global Research where he led teams in building a deep learning accelerator platform, recently released as Edison AI. Vivek has filed 20 patents on a variety of technologies, including interactive representation transfer of deep learning ontologies, MRI scanner automation and distributed solutions for deep learning. He also has over 30 conference and journal publications on AI technologies and applications. Vivek has a B.S. in Computer Science from Washington State University.
